After the UKCFUG Mailing list lying fairly dormant for a while, we think it's time to revive it. The group is here to help with your general web development as well as ColdFusion related questions. Sometimes you may wish to have a more UK based advice, which this group is perfect for. If you haven't signed up then the time is now.

In the past the group has been hit by spam, but this has now been rectified and all users first post will be moderated to ensure the spam is stopped.

In addition too the main mailing list we have created an Announcements group, this will be a low traffic group which will be used to announce UKCFUG Meetings, Events within the community and other announcements which may be of interest to people.

We hope that these resources will help one and all. If you have any thoughts on other ways the group can help you please post comment here or even post to the group.

Behavior Driven Development

One of the tools promoted by Agile Development Gurus is Test Driven Development (TDD) but TDD didn't work for me. Eventually I discovered Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and cfSpec which I found much more user friendly.

If you are interested in this new way of thinking about development it would be great to see you at this meeting.

The meeting will convene at 6:00pm for 6:30 Start at Phones International.

We will also be doing the usual raffle and I have a very nice Adobe Rucksack to give away to a lucky winner.
