Job: Web Developer (ColdFusion) Manachester / Bury

Web Developer (ColdFusion) - Permanent - Bury - £31,000 + Bonus + Benefits.

We are currently looking for an experienced ColdFusion Developer to join our web development team on a permanent basis.

Based in our Bury office and reporting to the IT Development Manager you will play a key part in providing continued support and enhancement to internal and external IT web applications.
You will work closely with one or more of our project managers to make continuous web improvements.
You will also work closely with Oracle DBA's to ensure that functionality is optimised, as well as involvement in various ad hoc IT projects as and when required. Ensuring that projects are developed in line with Company development guidelines.

In our first real session of 2010 we will be covering Debugging:

This session will cover in brief some of the debugging options you have from your sever through to the user / client.
This will include Network Traffic / ColdFusion Code / HTML / Flex
The main items covered will be using the ColdFusion Debugger.

This session is ideal for anyone who has to work with legacy code and doesn't know where to start.

Junior Web/ColdFusion Developer - West London

Award winning publishing company is looking for an enthusiastic individual with ColdFusion and web design skills to join our growing Web Development Team.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of HTML, CSS, ColdFusion and SQL. Experience and understanding of modern JavaScript/AJAX frameworks (preferably jQuery) and industry standard image-editing and design applications such as Photoshop is preferable, but not essential. A knowledge and interest in additional areas of web design and development - such as Web Usability, SEO and mobile technologies – would be beneficial, as is experience of working with Web Statistics Software (e.g. Google Analytics).
