Job: ColdFusion Developer – London – Holborn

The CF Developer will work on various projects / applications within their development team. Working in conjunction with other developers of various levels to build high performance and scalable web applications.
Description
You will be working as a member of one of our development teams; working with the ScrumMaster, Team Lead and fellow highly skilled developers.
You will be working on our core code library as well as the applications that your development team is responsible for.
You will be used to working in a managed team environment; reporting daily to the ScrumMaster on progress and any problems. You will then be required to work with your team to deliver the projects on-time and on-specification. You will be comfortable contributing to estimates for work, and happy to be involved in peer code reviews.
You will be quality focused and have an open mind to testing and new testing techniques.
You will have 2-3 years experience working with ColdFusion 8 or 9 preferably in an enterprise environment.

Skills
Must
2+ years of professional ColdFusion Experience
Production experience to at least one of the following frameworks

  • FuseBox
  • Model Glue
  • Mach II
  • ColdBox
  • FW/1

Experience of version control, preferably Subversion 
Understanding Best Practices

  • Coding Standards
  • Performance Centric Coding
  • Usability
  • Accessibility
  • Up-to-date with emerging technologies

Nice To Have
Exposure to OOP design patterns, MVC and IoC
Experience with the following ColdFusion libraries

  • MxUnit
  • MockBox
  • ColdSpring

Agile (Scrum / XP)
JavaScript, JQuery, and other libraries
Performance Indicators

  • On-time project delivery
  • Quality of delivery
