Job: ColdFusion Web Developer

The candidate must have a good working knowledge of all mentioned tools and be organised and self-motivated with excellent communication and motivation skills working closely with our marketing, commercial, design, and editorial teams across the whole business on a daily basis.

This is an opportunity to get involved in creating exciting and new applications from the ground-up and developing existing ones further. The candidate should be up for a challenge and dedicated to pushing the boundaries of current technologies. We are looking for someone who has the desire to work with us to create some of the most talked about applications on the web by using the newest cutting edge technologies.

On the technical front, you will need significant experience in ColdFusion, a serious knowledge of SQL, XML, JavaScript and the ability to work on Windows. You will be working with ColdFusion 9, FuseBox 5.5, and need to have embraced Agile (Scrum) with key techniques including jQuery, CFCs, CSS, Flash, AJAX and CFSCRIPT. You will be expected to write great code, which is logically structured and nicely commented.

Key Result Areas/Core Responsibilities:

• Creating specification documents for developers from wire frames and non technical specs
• Deliver work within agreed deadlines
• Developing projects from small modules to large microsites using ColdFusion, FuseBox, MS-SQL 2005, JavaScript, a little CSS
• Good team player to liaise with fellow Developers and motivating them, and further with In House Website Producers, Project Manager and Designers
• Manage workload and contribute to the scheduling process.

• SVN
• Transact-SQL (MS-SQL 2005 DB)
• WebTrends (good to have)

Salary £ Dependant on experience
