Job: Senior ColdFusion Developer - Milton Keynes
Due to the continued demand for Interdirect’s content managed, web-based systems, we urgently require an experienced developer. You will have at least five year’s experience in developing systems using ColdFusion (Components & Custom Tags), SQL Server (Design, Performance Optimisation & T-SQL) and jQuery. Additionally you will have a solid understanding of HTML, xHTML, CSS, DOM, JavaScript and AJAX. Candidates that also have experience of ASP.Net (C#), and / or Flash / ActionScript / Air will be favoured.
Success within this role will require the candidate to exhibit the ability to act upon their own initiative, to think about the “whole problem” and to develop innovative, robust and well documented solutions.
You will work in close association with the other developers, designers and project managers within Interdirect, and report directly to Interdirect’s board.
You
You will have at least two years experience working within a successful New Media or software development company, and you will be able to work as part of a team or on your own. You will be a problem solver that likes nothing better than coming up with elegant and practical solutions to challenging problems, and you will live and breathe web-based technologies.
Most client contact will be conducted through project and account managers; however, from time to time it will be necessary for you to speak with our clients; therefore it is vital that you are articulate and have confident interpersonal skills.

Location
The majority of Interdirect’s clients are situated in the Milton Keynes & Manchester areas, along the M1 corridor or in London. However Interdirect is a national agency with a growing reputation, so whilst the role will be based in Milton Keynes, you might be required to travel anywhere nationally. Opportunities for foreign travel are unlikely but not impossible.
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £25K– £30K (Depending on
experience)
