Generation USA and 121 Financial Credit Union Partner for Credit Union Member Services Specialist Program

The free, fully online course will give students the opportunity to interview Generation USA partner employees.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 12, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Generation USA and the League of Southeastern Credit Unions and Affiliates have partnered with 121 Financial Credit Union through Generation USA’s Credit Union Member Services Specialist Program, part of the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation’s Community Spark program ( SECUF) in Florida.

The five-week, tuition-free, fully online program allows students to learn the basics of credit unions, contact/call centers, account management and online banking, Use knowledge of policies and products to make appropriate referrals to members and practice adaptive communication with members and colleagues, respond to member inquiries and defuse disgruntled members.

Credit union member service specialists work in credit unions as video cashiers, in-person cashiers, or call center representatives. They are responsible for providing exceptional member service through basic financial transitions and resolving member issues and inquiries.

At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to interview Generation USA partner employees.
